0275 - Marine Air/Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Intelligence Collection Management Officer/Marine

The 0275 MOS is a secondary MOS for enlisted and officers in the 02 occupational field. Intelligence collection requirements managers are subject matter experts on the planning, development, and execution of a collection strategy in support of a commander’s priority intelligence requirements (PIR) and generic intelligence requirements (IR) derived from analytical centers
and intelligence staffs. Collection management officers support MAGTF operations by directing a unit’s intelligence collection, while collection management marines supervising the unit's collection management professionals in the execution of a synchronized collection plan to support the commander’s decision making process. Marines with this MOS can be found at any unit an 02 occupational field Marine may be assigned to.
Enlisted 0275's must possess a primary MOS of 0211, 0231, 0241, 0261, 2611, 2621, 2629, 2631, 2641, and 2691. Marines must have Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance eligibility and at least the rank of Sergeant. The MOS is awarded upon successful completion of the Collection Management Intermediate Course (CMIC) at the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center (JMITC) or the Naval Collection Manager’s Course (NCMC) at Marine Detachment, Dam Neck, Virginia. Marines must pass the Certified Collection Management Professional-Fundamental (CCMP-F) Certification Test administered by JMITC and maintain the requisite number of biannual professional development units (PDU) as prescribed in the CCMP-F Candidate Handbook.
0275 MAGTF Intelligence Collection Managers develop, coordinate, and implement the collection effort at their respective MAGTF echelons and possess working knowledge of organic, attached, and supporting intelligence collection capabilities and their respective request procedures.
Officers pursuing 0275 as an MOS must have a primary MOS of 0202, 0203, 0204, 0205, 0206, 0207, 0210, 2602. To be awarded the MOS, Officers must complete the Collection Management Intermediate Course (CMIC) at the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center (JMITC) or the Naval Collection Manager’s Course (NCMC) at Marine Detachment, Dam Neck, Virginia, must pass the Certified Collection Management Professional–Fundamental (CCMP-F) certification test administered by JMITC, and maintain the requisite number of biannual professional development units (PDU) as prescribed in the CCMP-F Candidate Handbook. 0275 MAGTF Intelligence Collection Managers develop, coordinate, and implement the collection effort at their respective MAGTF echelons and possess working knowledge of organic, attached, and supporting intelligence collection capabilities and their respective request procedures.
