0324 -  Reconnaissance Marine, Combatant Diver Qualified                                   Pvt- MGySgt

The 0324 Reconnaissance Marine, Combatant Diver Qualified is the secondary MOS for all enlisted Reconnaissance and Force Reconnaissance Marines who competed Combatant Diver Training.  Marines with this MOS will have a primary MOS of 0321 Reconnaissance Marine, but will refer to themselves by this MOS.

Reconnaissance Marines, Combatant Diver Qualified, conduct underwater operations to facilitate amphibious reconnaissance, underwater reconnaissance, ground reconnaissance & surveillance, AAFO, surveillance, and operational environment shaping and specialized raid missions in support of the division, MEF, other MAGTFs, or joint force.

This MOS is awarded upon completion of Combatant Diver Qualification Course, Pensacola, Florida.  Upon award of the MOS, Marines are authorized to wear the Combatant Diver device (known as the dive bubble) on their working and ceremonial uniforms.   

Prior to attending this course, Marines must hold MOS 0321, Reconnaissance Marine, must have passed the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intake test and the physical screening test in accordance with Seal/EOD/SWCC/Diver/Air Physical Screening Testing Standards and Procedures within 30 days prior to course attendance, must have current physically qualified (PQ) Naval Special Warfare/Special Operations Physical to perform combatant diver and HALO/HAHO duties in accordance with inter-service requirements.
