As the oldest uniformed service after the Navy, the Marine Corps has a long and storied history. Generations of men and women have borne the title Marine, in combat and peacetime, all around the globe. We honor our past, our heritage, and our predecessors by ensuring every Marine celebrates the same traditions as our predecessors, with some dating back to the founding of our beloved Corps.
