Officer Candidate School

Earning Your Commission

Officer Candidate School (known as OCS) is the equivalent of Boot Camp for Officers. You'll be indoctrinated, tested, and evaluated every step of the way.

If you graduate, you will earn the opportunity to commission as a Second Lieutenant.

No matter which commissioning source you go through (except the US Naval Academy), you will attend OCS.

We've broken down major training events, phases, tips, and tricks to help you succeed every step of the way.
