The Entry-level 0200 MOS is a Basic MOS that serves as a place holder while entry level Marines complete MOS training.  Enlisted Marines entering the Occupational Field will receive MOS 0200, Basic Intelligence Marine, while participating in on-the job training (if required) and/or attending formal school.  Marines can enter either the 0231 Intelligence Specialist or 0261 Geospatial Intelligence Specialist MOS.
